When you synchronize a product with an item or resource, the unit of measure of the item or resource is also synchronized with unit group in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV tries to match the unit of measure code in Microsoft Dynamics NAV with a unit of measure name in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, where the parent unit group has the name "NAV" [NAVUnitOfMeasureCode]. If a match is not found, a synchronization error occurs.
The product synchronization does not enforce that a coupling exists on a unit of measure. -
When setting up a coupling, you cannot create a new product in Microsoft Dynamics CRM that has previously been created from Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
