Open the Workflow window.
Specifies the steps of the workflow on lines consisting of workflow events and event conditions, workflow responses and response options, or sub-workflows.
Workflow events and responses are represented in the Workflow window in human language and as a continuation of the Event Description and Response Description column names to form sentences, such as “When event x occurs Then response y follows”.
In the Workflow window, you create a workflow by listing the involved steps on lines consisting of either workflow events with event conditions, workflow responses with response options, or sub-workflows. You define workflow variations by filling workflow lines from fixed lists of values that represent the scenarios that are supported by the application code. For more information, see How to: Create Workflows.
If a business scenario requires a workflow event or response that is not supported, a Microsoft partner must implement them by customizing the application code. For more information, see Walkthrough: Implementing New Workflow Events and Responses.
